When will Armadale Station happen?
It is expected that the new railway and station will be operational in 2011. Current plans are for the first phase of the development, and the new school, to be well underway by this time.
An Outline Planning Application was submitted in October 2008.
Over the next few months the masterplan will evolve and be developed through discussion with West Lothian Council, the local community and statutory consultees, including SEPA, Scottish Water and Scottish Natural Heritage.
The community is encouraged to contribute to the masterplan design process via the Commmunity Council and it is intended to establish a regular dialogue to allow this to happen in the coming months.
